Color Profile

DISC Personality Type

Blue.

The Analytical · Precise. Thorough. Sharp.

01 / Profile

The one who actually checks.

Blues notice that nobody else read the fine print. You did. You catch the typo everybody missed. You sit with a problem until it's actually solved, not patched, not papered over, solved. You'd rather ship a week late than ship something half-baked, and you don't really understand why other people are okay with that. They probably never will, either.

Blues are around 18% of people. You'll find them in engineering, accounting, research, law, medicine — anywhere accuracy is the whole point. Your gift is depth. When you say something is true, people can take it to the bank. They might not love how you said it. But they'll trust the facts.

02 / Strengths

What's working for you.

03 / Blind spots

What's costing you.

04 / Living well

How to live well with it.

You need quiet, structure, and time to think. The thing to work on is accepting that "good enough" is sometimes actually good enough — and that other humans don't run on logic alone. Your standards are real assets. Just don't let them become a wall between you and the people who occasionally need you to just be there, imperfectly. Decisions made on incomplete information are still often the right call. The data was never going to show up anyway.

You pair well with Yellows (their energy pulls you out of your head) and Greens (their warmth softens your edges). Reds will push you to ship — painfully sometimes — but you'll make better stuff because of it.

05 / Familiar faces

Blues you might recognize.

Bill Gates · Albert Einstein · Mark Zuckerberg · Marie Curie. (Sherlock Holmes too, fictional but quintessentially Blue.)
